We had a wonderful stay at this property for our anniversary. The BNB was super clean and comfortable. The property manager was super communicative during our stay when it was needed.
We were so grateful that we were able to find an alternative place to spend our weekend after other plans had fallen through. The place was clean, quiet, and conveniently located to Asheville. We enjoyed our stay!
We met our son and his wife half way for both of us. We took our son his dog. It was a great location and pet friendly. We would definitely meet there again.
We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Only 15 mins from Downtown Asheville and half an hour from The Biltmore. It was a very nice and quiet neighborhood and dog friendly which is a must for us! Definitely recommend!!
The house was great. We love Weaverville and this was our s cond time staying at this house. This time in winter. Wonderful space, home, and location. We will be back again!
The house was perfect for our stay! It was comfortable, clean, and easy drive to UNCA. The front yard was great to throw the ball for the dogs! We will definitely have to keep this place in mind when my daughter starts college this fall and we need to place to stay when we visit.
Bluebird Cottage was the perfect destination for us. My daughter and I were looking for somewhere to relax and unwind and we found it here. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus. It was nice to bring along the dog and there was room in the front yard for her to run and play.
My son (HS senior) and I traveled to visit Asheville and surrounding area for the first time. We stayed in this cute home, conveniently situated close to everything but just far enough for some space outside of the busy day. House is exactly as presented and perfect for our stay! We enjoyed the property, loved the hot tub and the front porch sitting. It was a perfect balance for us with city adventures!
My friend and I booked this cottage to have a girls relaxing getaway! The cottage is just as advertised. The hot tub and fire pit are perfect for cooler nights and so so relaxing! Kitchen has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Cottage is close to downtown Asheville and lots of restaurants. The perfect little cottage for a romantic or girls weekend!
Property is well kept on a beautiful piece of land not far from all there is to do in Asheville, NC. Plenty of space to stay as a family of four. Downtown Weaverville is just down the street which has adorable coffee shops and bakeries as well as some great food options. Really enjoyed our stay. This is one of those properties where you realize how great VRBO is....the price for amount of space we had is amazing for a family. Thanks for the memories!
This house is the perfect distance to be outside of Asheville and still be close enough to do everything you want to. It’s quiet and somewhat secluded, perfect for spending time with family or friends at the house. It has character and was clearly well cared for prior to it becoming a rental property and is appropriately priced for the level of service you get from the hosts and the amenities offered on the property. We will definitely return at some point.
The property is very nice. It accommodated us with everything we needed, towels, linens, cooking utensils etc. We booked this lovely home in hopes of using the hot tub and possibly the fire pit. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working and the rain stopped us from using the fire pit. Outdoor cushions for the fire pit would be a great option. We enjoyed watching the sunset and fireflies from the front patio.
We had a great stay at the Bluebird. The kids were happy to find a little swing out front. The house was cozy for a family of 4. The hot tub was so nice in the cold nights. The host was responsive and helpful with all my questions. The house is a quick ride to Asheville. There’s a fun little mini golf/ brewery 5 minutes from the house. Recommend bringing an external speaker for some music in the hot tub.
We enjoyed our stay at Bluebird Cottage! The location is fantastic, It's about 15-18 minutes from downtown Asheville. Weaverville is nice and there is the added bonus of the Ingles grocery store right down the street, so you don't have to go far if you forget something. The house itself is nice and clean. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for cooking and enjoying a meal. It is also well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The bedrooms are comfortable as well as the living room. The outside of the house has a nice porch with plenty of room to relax. We also enjoyed the hot tub and found the outdoor space one of our favorite spots.
We stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed how close the house is to things in the area while not being in the busy downtown area. The kitchen is well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Plenty of space to spread out. Communication with the host was quick and clear. I always appreciate when a house has extra pillows and blankets and provides shampoo/soap/dishwashing stuff, and this place did that! Check out was super easy and low maintenance as far as what we were responsible for. Note that there are no mountain views or sunset peaks here, but that was not what we were looking for on this stay.
Our stay was the very best of everything. My friends and I came into town for a concert in Asheville, but we wanted somewhere more remote to stay. The neighbors were a little close, but really posed no problem for us(we hope we weren’t too loud for them). We did have a little trouble locating the timer for the fire pit as well as the grill, and someone had the knobs turned to the on positions on the grill, but these were minor inconveniences at best. I bring it up because it may not be a bad idea to add a page in the binder for those things.
Other than that, the house was clean, had just bout anything we needed. the checkout process and duties were easy peasy, I always hate when other places charge a cleaning fee but leave a mile long chore list! The list that was there was clear and pretty simple. All in all, we would absolutely stay there again, we even talked about making it a yearly trip! We showed up tired and ready to unwind from our daily lives. We came home rejuvenated and relaxed, it was exactly what we needed.
House is just outside of Asheville and had the best time! After a day of exploring, we relaxed in a hot tub and sat by the fire pit. Weaverville is such a charming town with restaurants, breweries, and shops. We can't wait to go back.
