"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."

"We get to the hotel and greet the receptionist and say we have a reservation and she starts speaking in german and say we don't have a reservation (i think) in a very angry way, and when i didn't understand she got even angrier and gesticulates at us, and then guy shows up that speaks good enough english and we ask what's wrong and he says nothing and we get our key. "Wir wurden 2 Tage vor Aufenthalt vom Verwalter angerufen, dass gerade renoviert wird und die Sauna und der Pool nicht zu nutzen sind, weshalb wir hauptsächlich das Haus gebucht hatten.Dann ging er auf uns zu, wir können 3 Tage länger bleiben, man kann seinen Urlaub nicht einfach verlängern, dass weiß sicherlich auch der Verwalter.Dann wollte er uns die Stromkosten erlassen, hat aber gleichzeitig die Heizung nicht laufen lassen.Und als wir auscheckten war er sowas von unfreundlich und Frauenfeindlich, dass er uns da angemacht hat, warum wir noch eben auf die Toilette gehen, wenn wir schon raus sein sollten - unmenschlich.Außerdem war es im gesamten Haus nicht sehr sauber, es gab wenig Klopapier und selbst beim Einchecken war der Verwalter alles andere als freundlich.Das Haus ist leider nicht zu empfehlen."

"One of the best hotels I stayed in. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding! It had everything you could ever want. And if it wasn't there, the great staff was willing to get it for you. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night. Anklam itself is not very exciting, but it seems to be nice for outdoor activities."
