"Ich, 72 Jahre, war mit meinen Enkelkindern 3 Nächte in der Wohnung. Es gibt 7 Schlafmöglichkeiten, aber nur 3 Sitzplätze am Esstisch. Die Treppe zur Wohnung ist schmal und gefährlich. Die Sauberkeit läßt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Türen würden von alleine zufallen, wenn man sie nicht mit Klötzchen feststellt. Überall stehen Dinge herum, die kaputtgehen könnten. Es gibt für ein größeres Auto keine Parkmöglichkeit usw...."

Von Whirlpool, Tischkicker bis zur optimalen Bar um genügend Getränke zu kühlen war alles da.Der Check-In und Out waren problemlos die beiden sind super nett und immer ansprechbar.Die Unterkunft war sauber und liegt ruhig außerhalb des Ortes.Wir können es nur empfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder."

"Es ist einer sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Es ist alles da falls man was vergessen hat. (Handtücher, Seife, etc.) Die Kinder haben sich sehr über die kleine Aufmerksamkeit von Gummibärchen gefreut. Kommunikation hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Es ist ein ruhiger und schöner Ort. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe und zu Fuß zu erreichen. "

"Wir haben hier 5 Tage in herrlicher Umgebung als Familie mit Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen verbracht. Die Landschaft läd zum Wandern ein. Die Vermieter haben sich schnell gekümmert, als wir ein Problem mit der Sauna hatten. Alles ist hübsch dekoriert und ansprechend gestaltet. Der Garten ist einfach herrlich. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Absolut empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank"

"Absolutely lovely home in small, rural town about a 45 minute drive from Nuremberg. The house was clean and exactly as described. A family of 5 staying over Christmas, it was perfectly cozy! There are a couple of restaurants in town although these were closed for holiday during our stay. The home is located approx 50’ from the gorgeous cathedral (the bells are lovely). ibis budget Bayreuth

10/10 Excellent

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We knew it was an Ibis Budget when we booked so were expecting limited facilities as we have stayed with this chain before, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the stay. The room was compact, had facilities to hang clothing but no where to put other clothing this had to remain in the suitcase for the duration of the stay. Bathroom was great, lovely shower with plenty of hot water. No drink making facilities in the room but again we were aware of this limitation with the Budget chain so took plenty of water and soft drinks. It was a short walk from the railway station and there was a local bus that ran frequently to take us to the Festival Hall where we watched Wagners Ring Cycle, for the more energetic it is within walking distance and we chose to walk back each night which was easy. This is the closest hotel to the Festspielhalle if you are attending the Festival, however, this does mean that you are a little bit further from the centre of the town, but again walking is not a great distance and buses are available. The only quibble, and it is a minor one is that the room cleaning was not very great. The bathroom was cleaned daily, bed made, but the floor was not swept/vacuumed once in our 8 day stay. Breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff worked really hard, big thank you to all the staff, reception and the bar were 24/7 so when we arrived after midnight we were able to check in and get a drink. Would recommend."

It’s a little far from the Festspielhaus (if you’re there for the Wagner festival), but they run a complementary shuttle to and from the operas, along with a complementary reception (with prosecco and snacks) right beforehand, which was a nice touch. Little touches include the little note at breakfast announcing the forthcoming performance, the apéro in the afternoon before a shuttle-bus trip to and from the Festspielhaus and the option to dine after a performance. Even seeing the music on the stave above the beds is charming."

"The room was so clean and comfortable! It was warm but the front desk allowed us to borrow fans. It was very spacious. Breakfast was a really great spread. The hotel is very close to town, no more than a 15 minute walk. The only problem I had was I had to have cash to get water and didn’t bring any so I had to run to the store to get water with my card. But other than that it was perfect. It was very accommodating for our dog as well!"
