Very comfortable, quiet, clean accommodations in an excellent location next door to Goethe Haus in classy, old Weimar. The Dorint features a spa but their response for massages was too slow to take advantage; best to book ahead. Tight squeeze getting in and out of the Dorint garage. Spartan restaurant design but food fresh.

One of the very best hotels in Germany - truly historic location, five-star service, excellent dining. The great reception team made us feel at home from the start and treated us to an upgrade from the junior suite we'd booked to the Gropius Suite, a beautifully designed spacious suite in homage to the German-American founder of the Bauhaus school of architecture. We marveled at the attention to detail in the decor on the walls, the floor, the furniture. We treated ourselves to a gourmet dinner...

Nice location, out in the country. Cobbled narrow road to hotel. Shower on the small side other wise hotel and Breakfast good.
Shock was 4€ for parking! Nowhere else to park but in hotel grounds as the hotel is off the beaten track, not mentioned in booking.
