Search Guest Houses in Weligama

"My partner and I arrived at the hotel Ekho Welligama (07/01/20)we booked through Expedia to find that this place has seriously dated since the pictures were taken or perhaps they’ve just been photoshopped? The room is very basic which I don’t really mind but since we arrived on the 7th jan 2020 our room has not been cleaned and no clean towels have been replaced. I feel that a fresh towel should be offered. I even managed to track down the manager and she told me it would be done(12/1/20 09:15)...

"Overall, this hotel is very average. There were a few positive and negatives. I’ll start with the positives. After asking for water and toiletries, they were eventually provided. They let me shower after checkout and stored my bag, which was nice! The room is very average, but there was a gap above the door that didn’t shut all the way which let bugs in at night. "Mango House is a great place to stay within the Fort at Galle. Property is at a premium in this area so the room was smaller and more expensive than others on our holiday in Sri Lanka. That said, it was still nice and the breakfast was a treat. Great location for exploring as you can walk anywhere you need to with the Fort."

"Nice and comfy room. Beautiful garden with many beautiful birds and other wildlife. Close to the beach. Plus is for the distance to Galle Road (which is very noisy). The dinner was good, but far from great. The curry’s are way to salty. Same as for the breakfast (don’t try the chocolate pancakes). Beautiful place and very friendly staff. - Big minus for the hotels own landfill that you see if you take a walk outside the fences. They should really clean that up. Not ok! "
