Cosy Self-contained Studio with Panoramic Views

Enjoy scenic views of Wellington, the coolest little capital in the world, from this cosy, self contained studio apartment located in the central city suburb of Brooklyn. An ideal place to stay and relax, if you're visiting for pleasure or business. With its own private entrance you'll feel right at home in this studio apartment which includes free wifi, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and a lavender court yard. After a long day, a comfortable queen bed awaits you or if you have a need to stretch your legs, take an invigorating walk up the track to the Brooklyn wind turbine through the Waimapihi Reserve. Quality restaurants, cafes, bars and takeaways are just a 5 min drive away at the Brooklyn village or watch a movie at the local vintage cinema. The distance between the studio and city is about 3 km. It will take between 30 to 40 minutes for a leisure walk which takes you through the Wellington's Central Park located close to the CBD, containing native bush, a playground and flying fox. The nearest bus stop is only 6 minutes walk down the road and the bus No. 17 takes you to the city daily. The last stop is the Wellington Railway Station which is close to The Beehive, the Executive Wing of the New Zealand Parliament Buildings.

Cosy studio

Cutie studio unit

Easy to get into town once you get down the hill. Shops a car ride away.Great view from studio, unit compact but everything provided. Slight musty smell when unit closed up.

Wonderful place to stay with a beautiful view.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this homey and comfortable location. Julie and Pauline were very knowledgeable about Wellington and the area. They were also very accommodating when our ferry was postponed. Lifesavers. Beautiful location away from the center but close to everything.

Wonderful Studio

We had a great stay for a second time. The studio was again very clean, comfortable, and our hosts Julie and Pauline were welcoming and wonderful. A great experience! We took several bus trips to difference areas around Wellington with the stops just a few minutes walk from the studio.

Do not miss this beauty

A very clean and tidy room with a great view. All the necessities you need are there. The hosts were charming and very welcoming. I could park my car outside the flat and felt it was safe there. What else do you need - I'll be back........

Beautifully designed studio

The location was sublime with it's view.You had to drive windy roads to get this reward. The studio is compact but so well designed it does not feel 'small' at all!! We loved the colourscheme used in the studio. Kitchen is suitable for BF. and Lunches only.The hosts were friendly and always ready to help.There is a folder with information leaflets about Wellington We found that very useful.We recommend this property wholeheartedly!!

Lovely cosy cottage with a beautiful view

We stayed for two nights. Julie was lovely, very informative and kept in touch to make sure all went well before and during our booking. We didn’t meet Pauline. The bed was very comfortable for us and the facilities good. Driving down the hill is interesting for those of us who are used to straighter roads.

Studio Apartment in Brooklyn, Wellington

The cosy studio apartment in Greater Wellington is an ideal place for a holiday break in the city. It is close to the local bus route into the CBD and has views looking across the harbour. Julie and Pauline are superb hosts, and you are made to feel very welcome upon your arrival. The apartment is very well appointed and is really comfortable. There is also literature on the main city attractions. For anyone visiting Greater Wellington, this makes a perfect place as a base to explore the many districts of the city. I would recommend this apartment to any traveller visiting the city.
