  • Come and enjoy the peace and serenity of our Mountain Cottage while only minutes away from the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and Historic Wellsboro. Stroll down to Pine Creek or take a walk on the old railroad bed before retiring to the loft to watch a DVD or just relax and read a good book.
    Enjoy the beautiful views of nature as you look into our backyard. Many forms of wildlife frequent our feeders including deer, bear, chipmunks, squirrels, and a delightful variety of birds.

I really loved the place and will book again for a longer period of time. We come to the Wellsboro area twice per year (my happy place) just to relax, eat, and do a "thing or two", and this was the first time staying out of town. We loved it!!!

Quiet Fall Getaway

Lovely cabin is well appointed and cozy. Back porch was a favorite spot for us during our three nights. Cabin is near to the town of Wellsboro which was a wonderful place to explore. Surrounding countryside is beyond beautiful. Highly recommended this rental.

We enjoyed our Holiday time at the Cottage. The surroundings were perfect invitation to slow down, relax, go for walks by river, bake cookies, and most of all to enjoy family time. Perfect spot for local hikes and close enough to downtown to stroll Main St.

It was a perfect getaway for newlywed’s. It was quiet and private. It’s basically on the rim of the PA Grand Canyon and only 15 min from the cute little town of Wellsboro.

Fantastic location.

Stayed at this location for 3 nights. Cabin is very clean, cozy, private. Kitchen stocked well with all you need. Location is great, close to town, but not in town. Back yard deck very relaxing and private for those evenings. We will stay here again in fuure for sure.

Cute little cabin in a great location between both Blackwell and Coudersport. It was loud sunce it is located on the main road. We didn't spend a lot of time out back because the mosquitos were so bad, but it was beautiful.

Family Adventure Vacation

We used the cabin as a home base for exploring the Pine Creek Gorge. Access to the gravel bike path, West Rim hiking trail and rafting were less than 5 minutes away. The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us and had great outdoor space. We didn't have power when we first arrived due to a storm and the owner actually offered to put us up in her home, which was beyond generous! Thankfully, power was back before it even got dark. Great place to stay!
