Weng bei Admont Holidays

Room was great size and value for two people. Location was ideal as it is across the river from the Old Town and on the cute, main road, which is exactly where I wanted to stay. The hotel also was able to store our bags after we checked out and continued to explore the city. Took off 1 star because we went to sleep with the windows open and on Saturday morning the trash collection people arrived early (5am or something) and it was very loud. Once the trash collection subsided, the church bell next door appeared to ring every 15 minutes. I recognize this is out of the hotel's control, but it's just something to keep in mind if you're not an early riser.

Hotel Stein has an amazing location. You walk out the lobby door, then cross the bridge and you are in Old Town Salzburg. We found the ease of the location to be one of the best parts! We had a city view double room. It was nice. The shower and bathroom were spacious. The reason for only 4 stars is the breakfast staff at the restaurant on the roof. Our breakfast was included (paid for), however because it was included we weren’t allowed to sit on the outside or in the shade when we went to breakfast. The staff was rude when we asked why. They said it was because the tables with the view were “reserved”- there were hardly any people there. We would have enjoyed our breakfast more if we were allowed to sit in the shade- but again- reserved. The hotel was great, but the rooftop bar and restaurant were disappointing because of the way we were treated.

Lovely room overlooking St Stephen’s. Sasha was extremely polite and helpful. Roasting hot and it is a boutique hotel so no air con.

A good hotel but not worth the price. Location is not great. Surrounding areas aren’t the best. It’s close to the rail station which is convenient. Rooms were okay. Clean but not what I’d expect at this price point. Staff were okay as well. Not a lot of interaction as they seemed preoccupied behind the desks most of the turn we walked by. I would call this a 3 star hotel.
