"Great hotel with interesting history relating to winter olympics. A variety of rooms. Attractive Bavarian decor around the hotel including traditional furniture. Accepts dogs. A wide selection of quality food that can be augmented with wines and beers. Numerous forrest walks start outside the hotel by the lake. There is a path down the hillside that allows you to reach Garmish providing you have reasonable fitness. The old road to the hotel is being replaced so no more bumps before arrival. The views in good weather are stupendous. If you stand at the end of the lake near the hotel, you can see the Zugspitze mountain complex. We have visited twice and would love to go a third time or more."

"Staff was very helpful and our room was spacious while being cozy. The town of Partenkirchen was in walkable distance. Parking was easy. We’d stay there again. The only thing that would have been helpful is a sign to proceed through a gate."

"Gave us the wrong room at first. we were supposed to be in a deluxe room with a pullout couch moved us to the correct room, but we could never get the couch pulled out into a bed. I ended up just sleeping on the couch, which was very uncomfortable."

"Great hotel. Everything was just perfect. Great friendly staff, comfortable room, amazing breakfast with hundreds of choices for any taste. The wellness area is fantastic with all kind of saunas and pool. Free parking and few minutes walk to town. Would definitely stay again"

"The hotel looked a little dated but the staff was helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. It included sausages, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, bread, and sliced fresh fruit. I was hoping for hot chocolate but The machine didn't have it. There was a good selection of tea, though. The water for the shower was hot and soap and shampoo were available in the room."
