"Booked a room here to get some sleep on a trip home from FL. Checked in at 10:30-11pm. Lobby smelled like desk clerk just finished smoking weed. Rest of the place smelled of it too. By 2am the room above us was partying. Loud music and noises on the floor. Tried going back to sleep. By 3am they were even louder. We were planning on getting up at 5am to hit the road so we got up. Went to the desk and the guy working said we were there too long to get any money back. He could move us to a different room. Not sure why we should have to move instead of controlling the other room. And at this point I need to get up in 2 hours so what am i going to sleep? So after driving 12 hours I got to sleep about 2 hours for the full room price and then get back to driving the next 9 hours. "

"Booked a smoking well in advance and didnt get one. Wasn't told when i checked they were out of smoking rooms. Went to our room to found it wasn't smoking. Was told that they were out and to check the next day to see if they had one open. Called and they had one so had to move all our stuff to a different room"

"There was no shampoo or soap in the shower. You guys missed it on this one."

"Couldn’t find front desk attendant 4 or 5 times trying to ask about local restaurants. No bell to ring. Stood around but no one showed up. Gave a little worry about safety ."

"The check-in process was chaotic. There were clearly some issues the staff were dealing with and that frustration was passed onto the guest checking in. The computer crashed mid check-in which caused more issues. We came back “after hours” and tried to use the doorbell to get in the front door and it did not work. We needed up having to pound in the front glass to get someone to let us in. The gentleman that came to let us in was in his cell phone and seemed annoyed that we didn’t use the doorbell. We told him he did t work and then he tried it a few times before we were able to get in. Also, the elevators seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The room was nice but the experience getting there was rough."

"The exterior maintenance of the building is wanting, but the room itself his fine "

"The common areas were run down, soap containers in the shower were empty, craftsmanship in rooms was very poor, but the service at the front desk was very good."

"Breakfast was a hot buffet. My only complaint was you have to pay to park. Evansville isn't that big of a city and the Hampton isn't that exclusive of a hotel. I can stay at Hampton in indy and not pay to park. "

"The room was clean and beds comfortable. Quiet. Breakfast was fresh, but no eggs or sausage. "
