"I would recommend Showboat Hotel Atlantic City for the attractions, but not for staying overnight. The water park, arcade, and go-karting were really fun and are great for families. That was definitely the highlight of our trip. However, the hotel itself is outdated. My husband and I booked a large suite with an ocean view, which was beautiful, but the room didn’t match expectations. The furniture was old, the carpet was torn, and the TV was outdated—we couldn’t use our Fire Stick and had to rely on cable. There were also maintenance issues. One shower didn’t drain properly, and the other had a broken showerhead. The jacuzzi tub didn’t feel clean enough to use, which was disappointing. The bed was comfortable, though. Food options were limited. Most places required leaving the hotel, and the on-site restaurants we tried were not very good. The best options were the food cart near check-in and the gift shop. The food at the water park was good. Some restaurants we wanted to try (steakhouse, sushi, and Italian) were closed, which was frustrating. Overall, we would return for the attractions with our kids, but we would stay at a different hotel nearby."

"We reserved a premium king in the Rendezvous Tower, which was spacious. We had a side view of the water & boardwalk. The halls were quiet, the bed comfortable, & the bathroom/amenities perfect. The casino was convenient, the eaterie choices variable. We enjoyed our stay & will return."

"We recently stayed at The Golden Nugget, Atlantic City, and had a great overall experience. The hotel was very clean, our room was comfortable, and the casino itself was really nice with a welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was super easy and quick, which made a great first impression. We visited in the middle of the week, so there weren’t any shows available, but the bar more than made up for it with excellent live entertainment—we really enjoyed that. Another nice perk was the free self-parking, which is always a plus in Atlantic City. Our room was on the 20th floor, and the view was absolutely stunning—definitely a highlight of our stay. Dining was a bit of a mixed experience. The Chinese Noodle restaurant was less than okay. The service was mediocre at best, and the chicken noodle soup was underwhelming—the chicken was tough and lacked flavor. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay with clean accommodations, great views, wonderful staff and a lively casino. Noodle restaurant definitely needs improvement."

"Had a nice stay except for the ants in the bed. The staff moved us away but my husband and I slept with the ants all night. Itching. Move to the next room the ants were in the bathroom. Guess its just that time if the year. Ceasars did give 50 dollar coupon to eat in the casino for the inconvenience. ( 50.00 dollars is not enough) Hells Kitchen was awesome!!!"
