Lumley Castle Hotel
The experience was unique, stopping in Lumley Castle. The staff were so friendly and helpful. This was a bed for the night while visiting Beamish, 11 minutes away. Beautiful setting and grounds. Superking beds, spacious and comfortable ground floor apartment near town centre
There was on going building works happening when we arrived, at 6.30pm we had enough and decided to find alternative accommodation

Durham City Cottages
Parking excellent,room adequate,host very welcoming.Toilet seat didn’t fit toilet & kept sliding around.Very awkward & uncomfortable.

The Old Colliery Stables
