The Space:
Originally built in 1893, the building has housed a department store, men’s clothing store, and photography studio over the years. Fully restored in 2018, it now features a coffee and donut shop on the first floor with a collection of boutique loft accommodations above.
124 Lofts offers four private, thoughtfully designed spaces that blend historic character with modern comfort. Exposed brick, timber beams, and natural light create a warm, textured environment, paired with clean finishes and an open, easy layout.
Each loft features a king bed, private bathroom, and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, sink, Keurig coffee maker, and under-counter refrigerator. Please note that there is no oven or stovetop.
The lofts are well suited for couples, business travelers, and guests visiting for weddings or group events. Guests attending events at nearby venues like The BRIX on the Fox often reserve multiple lofts for a shared, walkable experience.

Great location with a ton of things to do within walking distance. Really enjoyed the decor of the space. Would definitely stay at this property again.
We stayed for 5 days and really enjoyed the loft! It has a very cool vibe to it and it located very close to amazing restaurants and bars. We will definitely go back!!
The location was great! Walking distance from many restaurants and music venues. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I really could say was the noise from the street in the early morning, but that had already been mentioned prior to my stay and they did provide ear plugs. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would go back again.
Clean, quiet and cozy…just right for a short get away. The town of Dundee is relaxed with plenty of restaurants. My in the clean, well kept loft was perfect! Suzanne is a perfect host. She communicates completely in a timely manner. I hope I have the opportunity to stay again!
The space was clean and beautiful, just as seen in pictures! In a great area with restaurants and things to do for adults. Perfect size for me and my husband. My only complaint would be the noise from the cars on the street and the other people renting the other rooms were pretty loud and slamming doors at midnight when we were trying to sleep. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! They provided ear plugs which I’m glad and a parking pass to park right by the loft. Overall was a great experience and would stay again.
From the moment we stepped into the unit we were happy with it. A nice "welcome" message written on a hallway mirror. A well done kitchenette stocked with some welcome snacks like micro popcorn, chocolates and water bottles. A full ice cube tray was even waiting in the freezer.
The only negative would be the road noise during the night. But we were warned about old buildings and thin walls. Plus, there were two pairs or ear plugs on the counter. The owner obviously accounted for that and it was a nice touch.
We were very pleased with our stay and wouldn't change a thing!
