"Loved the property and proximity to stores/restaurants on the island! The fact that it sits right on the gulf was the cherry on top! The back deck overlooking the gulf was our favorite hang out spot in the house. We were able to see multiple dolphins, stingrays and even a small shark or two in the water!! Would 100% stay here again!!!"

"Property was directly on the beach, back deck overlooked the ocean and West End Public Beach. The overall cleanliness was ok, we did come across quite a few dishes that still had dried food and/or grease on them. Beds were comfortable. Wifi wasn't working during our stay but was not a big deal for us as it helped us all unplug and be more present. Our dogs enjoyed the big living room and kitchen area to run around in. Overall, we would stay here again."

"This was our first visit to Dauphin Island but hopefully not our last. Toes in the Sand was perfect for our family of young adult “kids”with its three master bedrooms. We loved having a bay view on one side of the house and an ocean view on the other! The covered deck was wonderful and we loved stepping off our steps directly on to the beach. The kitchen was well-stocked and we were very comfortable. Communication with the host was great, too. Great week!"

"This house is old and it shows its age but the furniture and kitchen appliances are fairly new.. We had an ant invasion in every bathroom but I still rate this an awesome stay.. The location is amazing, the views are fantastic and the stairwell in the middle was a life savor when carrying up supplies.."

"Beautiful property with easy beach access. The large open beach house was more than sufficient to hold our 8 guests, plus a baby and a dog, without feeling cramped. Would absolutely stay here again!"
