"This was a very nice home. Quite area close to town. Very enjoyable."

"The room that my family and I stayed in was NOT REPRESENTATIVE of the photos AT ALL. The furniture was very old and worn, probably original from the 70s. The TV did not work at all nor did the phone. They supplied the fixings to make coffee but there was no coffee maker in the room. The stained towels and the walls were paper thin. The room seemed like something you’d rent by the hour. If there are rooms at this motel that look anything like the photos then I’m sure our stay would have been more pleasant. But our room was definitely old and pretty disgusting. It did appear to have a new HVAC unit which worked well and helped a little to drown out the noise from people talking in the rooms around us. I would encourage anyone looking to skip this place, maybe even travel to Baton Rouge. I promise it would be worth the drive."

"Like a home away from home, we enjoyed the amenities of a fully equipped kitchen to cook meals, especially the seasonings to cook with, a washer and dryer, a well lighted patio at night for relaxation, and I being old school, an iron and ironing board along with starch for my clothing made this stay exquisite. The bedrooms were luxurious and comfortable. The location was convenient to local restaurants, stores, tourist attractions, New Orleans, and Saint Francisville. No matter which time of the day we left or arrived, the residents were always friendly with a wave, a hello, or a conversation.My family and I would definitely stay here again. It is a hidden gem."

"Our stay at Melody house was not quite what we were expecting. It is neglected and in need of maintenance. I cannot recommend this rental at all and is not good value for money."

"Beautiful home! It had everything we needed for our family Easter trip. Everything felt super clean which is important to us. And the towels and toilet paper were super soft, which is never expected at rentals, but we appreciated that so much. Looks even better than pictures. Thank you for a great stay!"
