"This property served the purpose for our trip. I traveled with a friend and we just needed a place to sleep at night. We began our trip in Hudson, New York and this was a 40 minute drive south to the Reinbeck/Kingston area. On our second day, we travel to Woodstock and in the afternoon we travel to Rhinebeck. We were able to come back to the hotel and then go out to dinner in Kingston. Very convenient location."

"The Emerson is a great resort/spa. Our room was just beautiful, clean , and comfortable. However, you will need to plan your stay well before you arrive since spa treatments book up quickly. My stay was spur of the moment so there was no availability, not even for a pedicure. Also be advised that there is no cell service (didn’t matter to me) but there is WiFi. I was aware that the restaurant was closed on the days of my stay so I can’t comment on the food. Even though this is a nice place, I don’t think I’ll be staying here again."

"First off, Rick is very friendly and is an excellent communicator! We arrived at the property and felt instantly at home. We enjoyed using the large grill, using the hot tub while looking at the stars. All three bedrooms have confortable beds and AC units and tvs plus dvd/vcr players! There is a wide selection of VCR tapes and DVDs to watch in any of the bedrooms or living room. We had everything we needed to cook and grill our meals without bringing any supplies from home, besides food. The house and surrounding area was very relaxing and about 20 minutes away from Hunter and Windham. Perfect for us and our 2 adult kids!"
