We live in Cleveland Ohio and we rented the property to watch our son swim at a meet being held at Purdue. The property was within walking distance of the pool and was pet friendly so we were able to bring our 15.5 year old dog. The host never contacted us to access the property. While driving, we sent several messages through the app and called the hosts phone number a couple times. The messages went unanswered and phone number seems to have been disconnected. We called VRBO and the agent could not contact the host either. The agent canceled the reservation and refunded our deposit but there were no properties available in the Lafayette area. We ended up getting a hotel room 40 minutes away which was incredibly inconvenient. Do not ever rent from this host.
