"Adriana was phenomenal! Give that gal a huge raise!! I cannot say enough good things about her. She went out of her way to be helpful, cheerful, and never made us feel like we were being intrusive or asking stupid questions. She gave us honest opinions, advice on cuisine, and was just generally one of the nicest people we met while we were there. My only real complaints about the property are: there should be a trash can inside of the bathroom!!!! The fact that the floor of the tub was higher than the actual floor; so when you step down after a shower, your foot tends to slide on the wet tub floor. And lastly, having to pay for laundry. I already paid for the room so I feel like laundry should be a provided amenity. Yes they had washers and dryers, but at $3 a load to wash and another three to four dollars to dry that's a little ridiculous. Minor things. Overall, would book again especially if Adriana is still working there."

"The room was very clean overall, with hard flooring rather than carpet, which I appreciated. The bathroom mirror appeared to have been overlooked during cleaning, but the rest of the room was clean and well maintained. If you tend to get cold, I recommend bringing or requesting an extra blanket. The towels were adequate—not plush, but perfectly serviceable. Only the basic number was provided, so women or anyone who prefers separate towels for their hair and body may want to request extras. There was also only one trash can, located outside the bathroom, but it was easy enough to move it into the bathroom when needed. The hotel was exactly what we needed for a few days in Salem and was only about 20 minutes away. It is beautifully nestled away from traffic and other noise. Because it is an older hotel that has been renovated, soundproofing between rooms is limited. If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend requesting a room without another guest directly above you. Overall, the property was clean and well maintained, and the staff was exceptionally kind. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return."
