The Baymont in West Plains was in a quiet area somewhat easy to get to. The rooms were nice and the bed comfortable. The staff was great. On the downside the AC was not working in the hotel lobby and all the doors were propped open for venting including during breakfast which let in some flies. But it was still comfortable with the breeze. The breakfast was really not good and we nibbled around but put most of our breakfast in the trash. The carpet was a little stained and worn especially on the stairs but that is expected with no elevator. All in all, we felt safe and relaxed but next stay we may opt for one the newer hotel at the other end of town.

Employees were very nice, room was clean. The planters at the front entrance had dead bushes in them which didn’t seem inviting and the elevator wasn’t working. Just didn’t feel great having to lug our stuff upstairs to our room after a long day of travel.

Driving through on a road trip, this hotel was amazing! Very clean and very nice. Just what we needed to feel safe and comfortable to lay our heads down at night. Great waffles for breakfast in the morning also.!

My sheets were dirty, shower curtain broken, people partied in the hallway and parking lots children screaming and running through the halls, it said pet friendly. But I was charged for having a 2 pound dog. I will stick with Hilton there are no hidden fee there.

We came through visiting family and stopped overnight. It was easy to find, the staff friendly and helpful and the beds comfortable. Our only problem was that we couldn't change the channel on the tv with the remote but that was nothing major, we could still change the channel from the box itself. We did order dominos pizza and had delivered. I wouldn't recommend Dominos as it took nearly 2 hours to get our food. This had nothing to do with the hotel. We were just to tired from traveling to go out and attempt to find anything and thought it would be easy. The hotel was safe, quiet and comfortable. I would stay again if I am every back up that way.

Pool heater hasn't worked in months, but the staff lies when you call and ask. The crime rate is high at this hotel. Toilet didn't function and no one bothered to fix it. I left after the first night. I didn't even care if if got a refund. I didn't feel safe after hearing stories of drug busts and housekeeping finding bloody children's clothing.

Came for the eclipse and we found this property better than we expected. Excellent quality employees who were genuinely good concerned people. With a full house the morning employee was pushed to keep up with that many breakfasts but she kept right on going and made sure everyone got whatever they wanted. Nice pool, nice exercise room, close to restaurants, just an overall great stay.

This is an extremely clean hotel and the bed mattresses were the more modern hybrid style. Very comfortable. The staff was great and very helpful. I wish all lower priced hotels operated like this one.

The staff was very helpful. the room overall was nice, very clean, but in the morning went to take a shower and no curtain. the smoke detector was hanging off the wall. The rear door was unable to be opened from the exterior, this was not helpful as we had a dog and wanted to take him out close to the room because he alerts on strangers. You really need maintance.

Nice pet rooms and excellent shower
First time staying at this location. Stayed in a pet room, as there were 2 pups traveling with us. The room was clean and the beds comfortable and the shower was one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. As far as the room goes the only negative for us was the height of the toilet. It was very low, so having bad knees it made it hard to sit and get up. The staff was friendly, but it seemed they may have been understaffed. We had the complementary breakfast the first morning, but it left much to be desired. The eggs were cold and their sausage was not refilled. They had also ran out of milk and we were not a fan of the coffee. So the next two days we had coffee elsewhere. All and all I would still recommend this location and will stay there again when we’re in the area.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful upon entering. The hotel smelled great as we walked down the corridor. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

No problem except I asked for room 1st floor b cause I have bad knees and bad back!!!! Only thing they had on 1st floor was where animals had been. I have asthma so we took upstairs room. Not happy but we did it!!! With a lot pain
