"AC and outlets did not work at the same time. Had to call maintenance every night to restart and flip the panel switch for our outlets to work. Very inconvenient, rooms were small. "

"We We stayed at Hotel Belleclaire for one night from Tuesday, March 10 to Wednesday, March 11, and the experience was terrific. I would give it five stars. We loved the historic character of the hotel, and our room was surprisingly spacious for New York City. The $10 complimentary café gift card was a nice touch, and the tangerines at the front desk were a welcoming detail. The staff was excellent, especially Marc at the front door, who helped us with our car. We used the valet parking, which was only a few dollars more than self-parking and absolutely worth it in the city. Marc was professional, attentive, and very helpful while we waited briefly for the car. The location was also incredibly convenient. We walked to a show at the Beacon Theatre, had dinner with friends just across the street, and Central Park is only a few blocks away. A wonderful stay overall—we will definitely be back."

"There's plenty to do/see in the nearby area of 42nd Street. Thats a big plus!! The hotel's downstairs interior is absolutely gorgeous. However, I experienced having a room with a very large water bug (roach) which scared the bejeezus out of me once I discovered it. God knows how long it was there visiting with me lol. There was also a problem with the rooms temperature. Other guest had the same issue in regard to their room temperature. I was immediately changed to another room for my issues. Although, the new room had no bugs, it did in fact have water damage throughout. Which was an eye sore lol when in the room. My motto, spend only 4.5hrs in your hotel room once awake... sleep, wash, dress, snack, photo op, then leave. Outside of the room issues, the hotel staff was pleasant. The night life in NYC is always fire!! You can't go wrong. Enjoy everyone!!"
