The Falcon Painswick

Stroud

We had a lovely 2 day stay on a Wednesday and Thursday. The hotel room was large, clean and very comfortable. Loved it. The issues were 1/. After housekeeping had cleaned our room, it was left unlocked. I know we were in the country, however, we had passports and jewellery in our room and we were out all day. 2/. We spent 2 nights in the hotel, it is an old building but very well kept, the staff and owners are excellent. The hotel comprises of a number of terraced houses joined together with a maize of interesting stairways, however we were in a small but adequate en suit room on the ground floor so this was not a problem. A very convenient car park and sunny courtyard at the back, an excellent breakfast included, very convenient and accessible central location, by car or on foot.
