We recommend this hotel for your stay on the Snæfellsnes peninsula. It was for the second time we chose this hotel and once we come back to Snæfellsnes peninsula, we will definitely choose it again. Our room was very nice, spacious and comfortable. It was perfectly clean and well prepared for our arrival. As we enter the place we felt a warm welcoming. The staff was pleasent, there is a hot coffee all day long for the guests. The dinner and the breakfast are great and there is a warm pool and hot spring which are available for the guests (for a low price). We recommend the place very much!

We loved our stay here; everything was seamless, from the check-in to the delicious breakfast the next morning. Hotel Varmaland was one of our favorite places to stay during our ten days in Iceland.

Very nice hotel, nice rooms and located close to some interesting sights. Tours leaving just from outside the hotel. Nice, upscale restaurant. The only downside was that the outside thermal pools were open just until 7PM.
