"The location was fantastic for easy walking access to curriculur quay to view the vivid Sydney lights and to catch the ferry to various locations. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our city view room was roomy for our party of 3, the decor is tired and the beds could be upgraded. The large pillows look good but aren't so practical for those used to having room for individual pillows. A pillow menu and written list of amenities would be appreciated"

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney

"My husband and I stayed at this hotel near the end of a perfect month in Australia. We had stayed here for several days on the front end of our trip and could not have selected a better property for our final two nights in Sydney. This stay coincided with our 52nd anniversary and was perfect in every way. The front desk staff was excellent. We also want to thank Derek for giving us a warm welcome back and going the extra mile in every interaction and a manager (originally from Scotland whose name we failed to note) for offering us a late checkout when our return flight to the US was delayed by 10 hours. This hotel is perfectly located for so many Sydney restaurants and activities. Our last night coincided with the kickoff of 2026 Vivid Sydney, and the Four Seasons is positioned in the epicenter of the action. Over our years of traveling, we've stayed at Four Seasons properties off and on. We left Sydney Four Seasons with the thought, "Why would we stay at another hotel chain in the future?" Thank you Derek and the staff for not one but two amazing stays."

"A pretty old and run down option. The booking said there was a bath and robes, but no bath or robes. The spa was out of action and I couldn’t access the balcony because of some kind of construction. The cleaner did not clean my shower. Also it’s in a pretty noisy area and the windows seem very thin. With the amount of noise that comes in, I kept thinking there was a window open somewhere. Nice size rooms but all just a bit grotty and run down."

"The hotel is very falsely advertised. The room is very small to the point of being very cramped for even one person. For what you pay a night you could get a room twice as big. The listing advertised soundproofing but the soundproofing is nonexistent. You hear everything the people around you are doing even flushing the toilet. I was on a higher floor but the street noise was still pretty loud so I'm assuming it's even worse on a lower floor. I got the room for the "city view" but the only thing I can see is another building directly in front of me. I don't know how a hotel room be "cleaned" and end up dirtier than it started. The cleaning staff was careless with my things while cleaning and just knocked over my stuff. They ended up clogging my sink after the first time cleaning my room and didn't bother fixing it. They also tracked in some black gunk onto the floors that they just ignored and didn't clean for days. They ran out of the small towels you use to bathe with on my second day there. For three days, they had no wash cloths. They didn't give an explanation and told us to bathe with the bigger towels. Overall, you could get better and bigger for the same price or even less in Sydney. Low quality hotel and service for high quality price. Complete waste of money. I paid too much for the terrible experience. Don't recommend at all."
