The property is located minutes from the beach!! It is well maintained, the management and service staff were friendly and very helpful.
Easy check-in. Friendly, helpful staff. Apartment (2 bdrm) was clean and well appointed. Especially liked the enclosed garage for parking. Convenient location close to the beach. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

A very short walk to the beach with spectacular views & rare birds.
This place is excellent. Whether you are staying with your spouse for only a night or with a large family for a long period of time, this lovely apartment complex is the place you should stay. Each unit comes with an integrated garage and its own washer/dryer, which is very convenient. There were several bedrooms, however we only needed the one, but it was clean, modern, and had a comfy bed with plenty of blankets and extra pillows. There are two bathrooms; one on the first level off of the garage and next to the patio, and another on the second level next to the bedrooms. The second bathroom includes a shower (and heated towel rack!) and sink in one half, and a toilet and sink in the other half so if someone is taking a shower it doesn't limit someone from going to the bathroom (great for families in the morning or before bed). On the third floor is a kitchen, living room, and dining room that are all very spacious, modern, and comfortable. There's a DVD player for the kids on those rainy days too. The apartment itself is very close to the beach at maybe a 2 minute walk, and is about 800m from the downtown area. There is a convenience store approximately 200m from the apartment, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the downtown.
This apartment is worth a stay. If I lived in NZ I would make the Marine Reserved Holiday Apartments a regular summer destination.
Wonderful to stay in, close to a lovely beach, not far from centre of town. The property is really well equipped, warm, cosy, and a drive in garage with remote doors.
We absolutely loved our stay at these apartments in Whangamata. The apartment was fully outfitted with everything you need for a long term stay (even though we only stayed 1 night). We wish we would have stayed longer. The beds were super comfortable and the in suite laundry was great in the middle of our trip to get us freshened up. The staff are very friendly (exactly what you’d expect from MZ hospitality) and I would fully recommend staying here to anyone stopping by for a short or long stay.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Parking for two cars in the garage and we walked everywhere as the beach was right there and town was only a km away.
Great bbq to use on the deck and from there we had an ocean view.
With the living area on the floor above the bedrooms it was noisey with people walking around but once we were aware of that and treaded quietly it was better.
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and definitely would stay there again.
Stayed here to explore the Coromandel, mid winter and weather not so good but found this well appointed apartment was comfortable and a good place to return to when damp and cold. Thanks Chrissie
