"Disappointed there wasn't a cafe or anywhere to get breakfast (or even a cup of coffee) before 7:00 am. Strange that there was not a restaurant of some sort in the building."

Hotel La Fonda Taos

"A beautiful old hotel with modern additions such as mini-split AC systems. Rooms were spotless. The wooden floors were works of art in themselves. A number of decent eating spots are within a 5 - 10 minute walk. Very convenient parking. Wifi tends to be very slow at times."

"A speedy check-in and helpful staff made our stay enjoyable. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the pool area clean and the mini scones at breakfast were the best! The lady working the breakfast area was the sweetest most helpful person and I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. All in all, a great stay, but NM is not the cactus state (per the lobby sign). 😆"
