Great stay

"Great hotel, so close to the station. Realy lovely, friendly staff - nothiung seemed too much trouble The breakfast choice was one fo the best we have had in a hotel in a long time - fab to see things like bircher museli on te menu. The staff work incredibly hard, ansd it was much appreciated by us. Hope to return once your spa has been refurbished"

"Went direct to the hotel from Thirsk, and arrived at 10.30 am. The receptionist was very polite and let us store our cases until we could check in at 3pm. Easy check-in, and had a river facing room on the third floor. Beautiful room, and great bathroom ( the shower was a drencher but there was a shower cap) and lovely view. Blackout curtains and spacious with enough coat hangers for our stay. This is the second time we have stopped and may be tempted to make it a regular yearly hotel as everywhere was exceptionally clean, with a nice smell. Central enough for walking from the train station and close to the town centre."
