Booked this hotel last minute to avoid the drive home, and I’m so glad we did! The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were lovely especially Libby, who checked us in, she was so friendly and helpful — a real asset to the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful and we all really enjoyed it. The location was great too. We had a lovely stay and can’t wait to come back! 😊

Great solo traveller experience. Room was as described, basic but perfect for an easy york stay. Clean facilities. Cleaners are abit loud in the morning. Good location with a bus route outside the entrance. Plenty of parking and good security. Will stay again.

Young lady on reception was really helpful and friendly. Room was clean, tidy and well appointed. Great value. Only small grumble would be the showers regularly change from nice temperature to freezing, then boiling hot,, but easy enough to judge and suck out of, once you get used to the timing. Would definitely stay there again

Close to York and useful to have free parking. 40 minute walk into York but easy to get buses in as well as Ubers. Good breakfast and helpful staff and a later checkout of 11am is welcome (unlike 10am in other hotels). Always a pleasant stay.
