"The house was excellent and the host was very responsive. Everything was as desribed and the entire process from check-in to departure was very easy. I would definitely reccomend to freinds and would stay here again."

"This is atleast my 5th stay here.. Our rooms door seal was missing and we could see daylight through the door jam, cold air flowed through the entire stay. The maid didnt do a great job cleaning - tooth paste splatters and finger prints on the bathroom faucet, previous renters socks in the "closet" by the door and the freezer had items left in it. Customer service at the front desk & the breakfast kitchen workers were pleasant/helpful as usual. They get 5 stars for customer service. However i feel the room condition has worsened over time and has gone downhill since my last stay 2 years ago. This has always been my go to for hotel stays anytime ive visited Homer but next time we will be exploring other places. Ate at The Otter Restaurant & Bar - food was overcooked and all of us suffered from stomach aches after. Me & my husband bought a drink at the bar and the drinks were made well & was pleasantly surprised with the cost. So great place to drink, not so great place to dine. "

The setting is peaceful and scenic and the kind of Alaska backdrop that makes you slow down and appreciate where you are.The cabin itself was spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. You can tell real thought and care went into every detail. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and then some. The bed was comfortable, the space was warm and inviting, and it truly felt like a home away from home.And the hot tub area, Absolutely awesome. It really elevates the whole experience and makes the stay feel like a true getaway.What really sets Canyon Creek Cabin apart is the hospitality. Communication was smooth, welcoming, and thoughtful from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place that combines comfort, cleanliness, privacy, and genuine care this well.If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, a comfortable stay, and a place that reflects true Alaskan charm this is it. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"The cabin was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean, all the cooking supplies we needed, lots of small touches like motion lights in the kitchen and outhouse and slippers. The fireplace made the place very cozy and my kids loved having the upstairs to themselves and the treat of a TV and DVD player! The location could not be beat for the event we were attending just a mile down the road! "
