"Wow! Stayed for a month, wish it could have been longer. The view and location were perfect. The host was extraordinarily attentive and extremely helpful. To be sure, the star of this stay was the lake view and access, but that can only go so far when creature comforts are necessary to make it a truly spectacular stay. Here, the home had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean, well appointed and maintained. The beds were so good we didn’t even think about them, a true testament to their comfort. We can only give our highest grades for this home and host."

"Our family had a great time at this property for a family reunion. The place was extremely clean, with enough parking for 6 cars (in a line) off street. The kitchen was large and the open floor plan let us spread out between the kitchen, eating area, and living room. The decorating is calm and minimal. We didn't use it, but there was an entire empty room downstairs that could have been designated the kids' play room, if we had had any kids there. The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is totally quiet. Though I don't think it was listed in the description, there is a good gas grill out on the deck that we used in the perfect early summer weather. We were surprised that there was no bath soap -- only one of us had thought to bring any along -- and no tissues. The stairs are also pretty noisy, as is common in older houses. This was an issue in the night, since three bedrooms are upstairs, and the upstairs bathroom is off one of the bedrooms, meaning that some people went downstairs if they had to get up in the night (or else come through the large bedroom). All in all it was a good house, with its own quirks (as all our houses have) and we would stay there again in the future."

"My two friends & I found this property exceeded our expectations in location, cleanliness, beautiful decor & furnishings and general comfort! Adequate towels and extra pillows and blankets, shower & hand soaps, etc. were provided as well as K-cups and condiments you never seem to remember to pack! It has a lovely back yard and tables to sit with BarBQ which sadly, we didn't have time to enjoy! I was ( personally)surprised that the two baths were on different levels, but I may have misread the description. All bedrooms are on the main level. There is a fully finished basement, but I'm not able to go up & down many steps, so I personally did not see the basement level, however, my one friend assured me the game room, bar area and walk in full bath where very nice! We were gone most of the time of our short stay and wished we had more time to enjoy there. I would recommend a hand rail to the steps into the home and for the first few steps leading to the lower level and back door and at least one more mirror, in the hallway or one in each bedrooms, as only one mirror in the bathroom(s). Overall, we felt safe and comfortable and would highly recommend this rental or visit again! Our sincere thanks to the host!"

"There wasn't really a game room - unless we missed something. I did see other people talk about the foosball table, but we definitely didn't see a game room. It was just a little misleading and made us wonder if maybe it was in the attic, which was locked? I just wouldn't advertise a game room - especially to families like ours because it then sets that expectation..."
