"I had to check out a day early and I asked if I would have to pay. The person at the front desk said that wasn't a problem and no I wouldn't be charged for the extra day. When I realized I prepaid for the room, I phoned the hotel and they said they would not give me a refund me and would only give me a credit for some future stay. It's unlikely I will be going back to Whistler anytime in the next year or so. I am extremely disappointed with the hotel staff saying I would not be charged and then in fact I was charged. I have learned never to prepay for a hotel room again."
