"The Desert Owl is very nice little house. All the little touches that make a house a home. Kitchen is well stocked. It slept a family of 7 comfortably. I am told even the futons we comfortable. The sunrise, sunset and especially the stars were amazing. You have to remember that you are in the middle of nowhere. I would suggest getting to the place before night as the area is very dark and it gets dark quickly. Driving to Dolan Springs we were wondering what we got our selves into but was pleasantly surprised when we got to the house. There is not much around in the way of stores. We stocked up on food and gas (expensive) before we got to the Desert Owl. We filled up in Kingman about 40 mins down the road. If we ever have a chance to make it out that way again we would defiantly stay at the Desert Owl again."

"The place was very clean. Was a little concerning since said we had to enter through the back door. Pictures were only of the front of the house. Other than getting the communication about the door code I didn't have to reach out to the host. Beds were soft and everything we needed was there."

"I highly recommend staying here!!! The host was extremely helpful when we needed help to find the location, even though we were coming in rather late at night. The views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking and they are visible from almost every single part of the house. The night sky here is unbelievable, and this entire location was such a tranquil experience."
