"This was a girl's trip for 5, 60yrs ladies. Because of who we are we had a great time! We can't party like we used to, so the noise ordinances did not affect us. Younger folks might have an issue with it. Very quiet area. The lake view did not disappoint. The weather was not good for us so we weren't able to use the lake or any water toys (:. The listing indicated there was a fireplace which there is not. Disappointing because it Would have been nice because of the weather (damp, rainy, windy. ) within 10 minutes to shopping, eateries, etc. So that was nice. It didn't bother us but I would suggest getting a better cleaning service. The listing said no pets but other have definitely been pets here!"

"The setting is spectacular and the property includes a lake, woods and open lawn. Prior to check-in we did not have a floor plan of the home so we didn't know which bedrooms were on what floor and where the bathrooms were located relative to the bedrooms. The door lock is complicated and we never received instructions about how to use it. The refrigerator has an ice maker but we could not get it to work, even after several exchanges with the host. We had a fireplace but no fireplace tools. One grill malfunctioned so we could not get the temperature above 300 degrees. There is ample seating for large groups and the deck had wonderful furniture for lounging or eating. The stove top is induction cooking so using pans that don't fit the burner area will not heat. A gas range would be wonderful to have. Although the house was generally clean, there were places that had not been cleaned - table tops had smudges and stains, the bathrooms were marginally okay but could have been clearner. We were not informed that the lawn service was coming to mow so that was a big surprise. Fortunately we didn't have outdoor plans that day. Overall, a beautiful property that could be enhanced by some increased attention to detail with more complete instructions, a more thorough cleaning, appliances that work better (ice maker, stove) and more information about layout."

"Such a beautiful place with a ton of amenities. The lake was gorgeous and it was super nice being able to have all the paddle boards and whatnot. We also loved having the hot tub since it got pretty chilly at night. Tons of places to hang out inside and out, which was great for our group. Will definitely say again."
