This two-bedroom with a loft cozy cabin offers a western ambiance with spectacular views of the beautiful Cedar Forest.  Located very close to the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort, this property offers everything a guest would need for their mountain vacation. Ptarmigan Village is a highly sought-after resort community nestled just over half way up Whitefish Mountain Resort and just minutes from downtown Whitefish, MT.

With 896 square feet spread across three levels, you`ll find an open great room and kitchen on the main floor of the property. This spacious room has large picture windows facing the cedar forest, providing an incredible back drop. Featured in the center of the room sits a large stone fireplace shared by the dining area that comfortably seats 4-6 people.  Please contact the reservation department for specific information. 


This property includes a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to prepare a great meal during your stay. One of the highlights of this property sits its large deck with outdoor dining and a electric BBQ.

On the lower level you`ll find two Queen bedrooms. Also located on the bottom floor is a recently remodeled bathroom with a walk-in shower. Also located in the downstairs bathroom is a stackable washer and dryer. The stairs leading down to the bottom level are very steep! To get to the loft area located above the kitchen there is a ladder like staircase that leads to an additional sleeping area which contains a full-sized bed. This condo has a mini-split a warming and cooling system. 

Parking is free and available for a maximum of two vehicles; If you have any oversized vehicles such as Motorcycles, trailers and RV`s the Village does have room in our oversized parking areas. Please speak to our reservationist if you need assistance with parking options. 

Don`t forget that Ptarmigan Rentals offers many amenities to our guests, including access to all of the great village amenities including access to the indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, outdoor pool, tennis courts, private beach area and so much more. 

Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana.  This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America.  When the snow melts Whitefish Mountain becomes a summer playground home to zip lines, alpine slides, hiking, biking and so much more. The greater Whitefish area has some of the best golfing, water sports, fishing, whitewater rafting, festivals and is the gateway to Glacier National Park. 

Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays.  Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation.  Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire about options.
