"Clean, comfortable, stylish flat. We slept well, we loved the skylights and the view from then. Loved the deep tub and the shower. Highly recommend. Bus stop right outside the flat, very handy. Very close to the harbour."

"The apartment is really well decorated, despite being an older building, and was comfortable as a base for our weekend in the area. There are a few original features I was pleased to see preserved, like the fireplace and hearth in the living area. The location is within walking distance of the harbour area where there was a food market during our visit, and some decent cafes. There’s also a supermarket less than 5 mins walk away for supplies. "My family and me stayed for 3 nights over the May 26th bank holiday weekend. The flat was in excellent condition and was very spacious. The bedrooms were nice and big and so was the living room. The flat has a nice fresh look, with all the amenities and the balcony over looks the docks. The town itself is very quite with nothing much to do, so it a good place if you want peace and quite. "

"Pros: Good value Excellent location in Cockermouth (especially bakery over the road!) Decent size for a couple Cheap parking nearby Easy to find and access Cons: Squashy uncomfortable mattress Needs blackout blinds/curtains No freezer, could use more glasses, crockery etc. We spent four lovely nights here and if the bed and blackout were improved then we’d happily return. "
