NEW Cabin • Hot Tub • 2 King Suites

Imagine ending the day in the Smoky Mountains soaking in a hot tub on a covered porch, cool mountain air drifting through the trees, while dinner sizzles on the grill and the fire pit crackles nearby.

That’s a pretty normal evening at Mountain Due.

This newly built mountain cabin was designed to be the perfect basecamp for exploring Western North Carolina while giving you a cozy place to recharge afterward. The cabin itself may be brand new, but we’re not. We’ve been hosting guests in the Smokies for over 7 years, and all of our properties proudly maintain 4.8+ star ratings.

In other words, you’re in experienced hands.

And once you arrive, it tends to feel like you picked exactly the right place.

The Perfect Smoky Mountain Basecamp

Mountain Due is tucked into a peaceful mountain setting, yet incredibly close to some of the most loved towns in the region.

Within about 15 minutes you can explore:

• Bryson City – restaurants, shops, tubing, and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad
• Cherokee – home of Harrah’s Casino, elk sightings, and access to the National Park
• Dillsboro – charming artisan shops and local breweries
• Sylva – a beautiful mountain town with fantastic restaurants and scenic streets

Outdoor lovers will have endless adventures nearby:

🏔 Waterfalls
🥾 Hiking trails
🚣 Kayaking and tubing
⛳ Golf courses
🌲 Endless mountain views

Then when the day winds down, you return to your private cabin, hot tub ready and waiting.

Perfect For

• Two couples traveling together
• Casino weekends in Cherokee
• Waterfall chasing and hiking adventures
• Cozy mountain getaways
• Dog-friendly vacations
• Guests who want easy access to Bryson City, Sylva, and Dillsboro

The Living Space

Step inside and you’re greeted with the perfect mix of modern comfort and mountain charm.

Large windows bring in natural light and forest views, while the open layout keeps everyone connected whether you’re cooking, relaxing, or planning the next adventure.

Stretch out on the large reclining sectional sofa and enjoy:

• Electric fireplace for cozy evenings
• Large ROKU Smart TV
• Starlink high-speed internet
• Board games, books, and cards for game nights

This quickly becomes the spot where everyone gathers.

A Kitchen That’s Actually Ready for Cooking

If you enjoy cooking on vacation, this kitchen will make you happy.

You’ll find:

• Full appliance setup (yes, we have a dishwasher)
• A stocked spice rack
• Sharp knives (rare and wonderful in vacation rentals)
• Plenty of cookware and dishes
• A duo coffee maker for either a full pot or single K-cup

Meals can be enjoyed at the granite island with seating for four.

Two King Suites

(No awkward bedroom negotiations.)

Mountain Due features two king master suites, making it ideal for couples traveling together.

Each suite includes:

• King bed with quality linens
• Smart 4K TV
• Ceiling fan
• Nightstand with USB ports
• Sound machine for peaceful sleep
• Private bathroom

One bathroom has a large walk-in shower, while the other includes a tub/shower combination.

Maximum occupancy: 4 guests

Outdoor Relaxation

Mountain days are great, but evenings at the cabin are where the magic happens.

Covered Porch Hot Tub

The hot tub sits on the covered front porch, allowing you to soak in warm bubbling water rain or shine.

Morning coffee, sunset relaxation, or late-night stargazing… the porch becomes everyone’s favorite spot.

Covered Outdoor Dining

Enjoy meals outside at the covered porch dining table while surrounded by trees and mountain air.

Fire Pit

End the evening around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and swapping stories under the stars.

A Typical Day at Mountain Due

Coffee on the porch as the mountains wake up.
A short drive to waterfalls, hiking trails, or the casino.
Exploring Bryson City shops or tubing the river.

Then coming back to:

• a bubbling hot tub
• dinner on the grill
• stories around the fire pit
• stars you forgot existed

Parking & Driveway

Mountain Due sits at the end of a long private gravel driveway under a canopy of trees.

It’s peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a quiet walk with your pup.

Parking available for 2 vehicles.

Dog Friendly

Your pup is welcome here.

🐾 $45 pet fee per stay
Dogs only please.

Our own three dogs absolutely love visiting this property.

Starter Supplies

Our cleaning team provides starter supplies including:

• Hand soap
• Laundry detergent and dryer sheets
• Paper towels
• Trash bags
• Dishwasher pods
• Toilet paper

For longer stays you may want to bring additional items.

High-Speed Internet

The cabin is equipped with Starlink WiFi, which supports streaming and multiple devices.

Because we’re in the mountains, occasional outages may occur beyond our control.

A Few Friendly Mountain Notes

Mountain Due sits in a mountain area, which means:

• Roads may be gravel, curvy, and steeper than city roads
• You may see wildlife like deer, fox, groundhogs, or other local critters

We maintain the property regularly, but insects such as spiders, ladybugs, and mosquitoes occasionally appear. That’s just part of mountain living.

Road Noise Transparency

This cabin sits off US-74 and across the river, which gives it fantastic proximity to nearby towns.

Because of that convenience, there can be noticeable road noise outside, and occasionally faintly inside. Some guests notice it more than others, but we always like to be transparent.

Important Notes

• A Renter Agreement must be signed before check-in
• A $250 security deposit hold will be placed on your card 3 days before arrival
• This is a hold, not a charge, similar to hotels
• No refunds due to weather
• We recommend purchasing travel insurance

Travel insurance helps protect your trip in case of illness, injury, or unexpected weather events.
