Our cabin features a large open living area (with queen size pull out couch) and a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area. The full bath is equipped with essentials, and the private bedroom has a queen sized bed, desk for working and is open to the laundry area.

Outside you'll find a full size gas grill and picnic table, fire pit and seating. The smaller shed is open and you can feel free to use loung chairs, corn hole game, cooler and more.

The cabin is located on the side of a small mountain, where you will have complete privacy. The driveway to the top is steep, and curvy. All wheel or 4 wheel drive is necessary to insure that you will make it to the top of the 1/4 mile road where the cabin is located. Please note, there are no lights on this road. It is a typical mountain road, a little alarming at first, but definitely not unusual for this area.

Quiet cabin

The cabin is beautiful. I could live in it just fine! There was absolutely everything we needed, and everything was in great condition. The driveway is steep, yes, but we knew that and took it slowly. It was a quiet respite after we had hiked etc. each day.

BEWARE! The driveway is NOT marked (you have to turn at a neighbors address which was not disclosed until I spent an hour driving up and down the road looking for the turn and finally had to message the owner). There is NO lighting so at night you can not see where the driveway is. The description says it is accessible with a two wheel drive van. I'm very used to mountain driving and my suv couldn't make it up the driveway. I slid off the driveway, in the dark, and ended up with my car caught on some kind concrete (I couldn't see exactly because it was so dark). It was a very dangerous situation and I was terrified I wasn't going to be able to get my car unstuck in the middle of nowhere with no one to call for help. I wasn't even able to access the property. I ended up sleeping in my car in a Walmart parking lot. The owner was responsive until I voiced my complaint and then they said they lost money due it being a busy weekend and quit communicating. They showed very little concern for my safety or the fact that I ended up not being able to even get to the cabin and caused me to miss seeing my son who is in college nearby. If the description had been accurate and disclosed the lack of lighting and NEED (not recommendation - they say that so they get more bookings regardless of safety) for a 4 wheel drive vehicle I would never have booked the cabin. After going through VRBO they did begrudgingly offer partial refund but still blamed ME for the situation. BE CAREFUL!
