"We have stayed here five times in the last three years. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and all different. Dinner was delicious and breakfast absolutely fabulous. As was the very very nice woman serving/managing our breakfast. Late October - mid November the deciduous woodland surrounding the Hotel is absolutely stunning. Best time of the year to go for tree and autumn lovers. Herons clearly love it too! Driving thro' Gelderland is a joy and finding yourself in Kasteel Engelenburg is the icing on the cake- Just lovely! ( and we do not play Golf!) "

"We booked our stay through Expedia but didn’t realize until we arrived in the town that the exact address wasn’t provided. Since it’s such a small town, we decided to stop by the local grocery store, which happened to be right across the street. The staff there were incredibly helpful—they quickly got us in touch with the property owner, and everything was sorted out within minutes. Once we were settled, the property itself was fantastic! Parking can be tricky in these small towns, but we managed to find a spot nearby. Edith and Teun were outstanding hosts and went above and beyond to assist us, especially since we only speak English. I would highly recommend and gladly stay here again if the opportunity arises."
