"We had a wonderful stay with Dee and Al. They are very friendly and gracious hosts. The house was immaculate. Our bedrooms were very comfortable. Dee and Al thought of everything you might need from snacks to drinks to bathroom supplies. If you stay here make sure to wander the grounds. It is a special place and I would stay here again in a second."

"Friendly & helpful people who know their town & surroundings well helped to make our weekend a memory we will hope to repeat at this very same inn!! I wished we'd had more time to take advantage of all the enriching & artistic activities as well as the wine, but we had to first find a near by Costco to borrow one of their loaner hearing aid chargers. Can you imagine being with someone who could not hear you for 3 days!!! Well, that problem was solved early & we were able to take advantage of all the reasons we chose this area. We relived memories from my childhood among the redwoods & were delighted to find Armstrong Grove to still be in beautiful condition despite the fires of recent years. The Russian River, of course did not disappoint! We will need to come back soon to visit some of the key wineries that I was not interested in when I was younger. And, we did not make it out to Jenner which is still calling to me, as is historic & restored Fort Ross. Cazadero music camp will need to be revisited when the kids are there & performing concerts. Our Innkeeper drove us personally to one of the town's most treasured restaurants where we dined on fine food that was presented so artistically that we could not help but take pictures of it before letting our taste buds join in the treat. Even though I am 79 & my husband is 97, we felt like young kids as we climbed to our rooms along sturdy & attractive walk ways that created a charm not found on simple walk in properties."
Shangri-La Sonoma - 5BR 4BA Redwood Retreat w/ Heated Pool

"The retreat is beautiful, and there is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy quality time together in nature. The front and back cottages are a nice location - set back from the main house, however, important to note - no bathrooms within either, so you will need to be access the main house if you need to the restroom in the middle of the night. The kitchen is wonderful for shared meal making and has plenty of dish ware and a variety of teas to enjoy! No dishwasher tablets were available, which made cleanup a bit more of a heavy lift.Our group had great weather during the stay; kids had fun exploring the backyard space and the on-site Ghost Town saloon steps away. Unfortunately, the beautiful pool was not warm enough for the kids to swim for longer than 15-30 min dips. The home is about a 15-20 drive from downtown Sebastopol, which made for an easy enough trip into town for ice cream or a meal. It is about a 10 min drive from Earthseed U-pick which we loved for apple-picking in September.There were some communication hiccups that would have made our check in swifter, but we were able to address the issues quickly with the responsiveness of the host!"

Interior nicely renovated. Note in listing tgst there is kitchenette Toaster oven Microwave Nice size mini fridge. Let’s bring our stuff out Mateo. Mateo let’s OK I’m sorry I didn’t know if youSingle burner electric. Basic supplies so bring whst you need."

"This property is a 10 out of 10! Perfect for a large multi- family group! Every room has a full bath and King/ Queen bed! The amenities are wonderful! Everything is provided for all the activities! The multiple outdoor spaces make outdoor entertaining easy and fun!We loved our stay and hope to come back soon!!!!"
