"The property was not up to normal La Quinta standards. The bathroom light was missing, the walls had obvious chips and poorly patched cracks. The dust level in the room was excessive. The shampoo and soap situation was tolerable, but not ideal. The "breakfast area" was poorly manned. "We stayed at a Drury Inn again. This was our sixth stay, and it really says a lot that we keep coming back. We’ve stayed in September, October, December, January, last week, and again yesterday. During a previous stay, there was no soap or body lotion, and this time there was soap available, which we appreciated—but still no body lotion, so I had to buy it again. I especially want to mention the lady from the afternoon shift who always welcomes us—she has been there every time we’ve stayed, and she is consistently kind, warm, and attentive. I will make sure to ask for her name next time, because she truly deserves recognition. Overall, the entire staff is very pleasant and welcoming. It’s the people who make the difference.
