"Location was amazing, right on the Main Street of Hahndorf. We were in a balcony room and it was very quiet. Room was spacious and very clean. Check in was easy and staff were friendly and welcoming."

"Location was great right in the heart of Hahndorf. Check in was quick and easy. Room had everything we needed and was nicely updated. Room was clean and good value for money. A bit more lighting at night would be beneficial as very dark when coming home. Can be a bit noisy as room backs onto a cafe’s kitchen and cars and delivery trucks park right outside your door from early in the morning delivering goods to the German Inn next door. Otherwise our stay was really great."

Hahndorf Old Mill Motel

"The upstairs loft rooms are great although security by the way of the door locks could be improved. A chain loop on the inside and make the door lock auto lock so you only need the key to enter but not required to lock as this caught me out once. So handle to open from the inside to leave but no key required to lock up. Other than that it was a good stay. :)"

"The check-in process was a bit messy as we were going to be late arriving due to our flight time; we were told different information about getting our key etc when the desk was actually open until 10pm and we picked it up just fine when we arrived! We were lucky enough to be given an upgrade, only to find out the shower was over the bath and ended up back where we booked so we could have a walk-in shower! Would definitely book car parking next time as the street parking was inconvenient and costly if we had been there during the week due to time limitations"

"Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend."
