"Rosemary greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful in showing us anything we could have wanted to know! We had everything we needed at our fingertips! Our visit was short so we didn’t have a chance to use the fire pit, but everything we’d need to do so was right there! The part I enjoyed the most was the proximity to nature and the beach! It was a short, relaxing and peaceful walk to McKinley Beach (which was very quiet and peaceful as well)! The yard around the property is also beautiful from the arbor over the entry to the screened-in cabana and outdoor Adirondack chairs. The futon upstairs is almost ready for an update, but the TV provided lots of viewing options. Rosemary and Mike have really thought of everything! I recommend this rental!"

"MI Shore Thing Cottage was everything we were looking for. The house was comfortable and well appointed, plenty of room for 5 of us and a dog. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Spacious kitchen to move around in and had all the kitchen ware we needed. The backyard was large and spacious with a hot tub, sauna and firepit, which we used daily. It was a short walk down the street to Lake Michigan to a private part of the beach. The beach/lake was spectacular!! It's a short drive to downtown near the marina and shopping. A really cute beach town with restaurants and bars along the way. We truly loved the long weekend at Mi Shore Thing Cottage. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!"

"The house was very clean and very well equipped. The bathrooms and kitchen were up to date and operational. The pool was clean with plenty of lounges, and the beach, while we preferred the short drive, is then 3 very sturdy flights down to access a very lovely uncrowded beach. The yard is large and quite lovely with a great deck off the kitchen. Some parts of the house are a bit rustic but at the same time quite charming. The location is close to the beach, restaurants and groceries.The stairs to the 2nd floor were a little steep and could be a navigation issue for some.All in all, a comfortable and very enjoyable stay!"
