"Great spot in Union Pier, right next to the Whistle Spot market, which we love! Space was perfect for me and my husband. High ceilings make it feel bigger. Communication with the host was great. Thanks, definitely recommend!"

"This cute, comfy place is disguised by an old concrete garage. We loved how secluded and private it seemed, and enjoyed stargazing while relaxing by the fire. There was a lot of wood provided for use in the fire pit! The beds are very comfortable. The private beach access is not for anyone who struggles with stairs or waking long distances. It is beautiful and the sunsets are mesmerizing, it’s just a struggle getting from beach and up the steps. We found so many places of interest, only 10-20 minutes away! The host was very responsive! I sent a message but received a phone call in return. I was really surprised at how accommodating the host was. I had the most relaxing vacation!"

"Place is super cute and was a great layout for a girls trip with 7 people. We liked the two sitting areas and roomy kitchen. The short walk to the beach wasn’t bad and bringing our foldable wagon was super helpful. We were not prepared for all of the stairs to get down to the beach with all of our stuff but still had a great time. We loved having a fire on the beach and ate pizza around it one night. Only had 4 beach chairs available at the house and luckily we had friends that live there loan us a few more so all 7 had a seat. Overall it was a great experience and had a lot of fun!"

"Jim was great host—communicative and responsive. Check in was a breeze and he made sure everything was to our liking. Very quant and comfortable cottage. Well kept grounds. We didn’t have the time to take advantage of the many amenities. Pluses: private, well maintained, beautiful beach (who knew Lake Michigan was like east coast beaches without salt water, crowds and sharks!). Close to biking/walking trail you can take for long rides.stocked with essentials. Bright and airy porch dining area Things to know: Beds are roomy for single person if you’re used to sharing a king or queen. While property is on a bluff, the lake and sunsets are not visible from property— you need to walk to beach access. There are about 65-70 steps to beach not 100 (we counted). If you want to take a lot of stuff, you can take a wagon down the street where there is a beach access that is sloped with a walkway and a porta pottie. Highly recommend beach time."

Great proximity to beautiful beach. Wonderful neighborhood, lovely walk to nearby sandwiches, ice cream, bakery. Would stay again & recommend to others!"

"The house is very clean and in an amazing location! We stayed here twice. The house is a tad small for more than one family - there is a guest house with extra beds but you do need to walk outside to get to it."
