Delightful cottage with huge yard on heavily wooded one acre lot in Union Pier.

"The property had everything we were looking for. The location was amazing for all the activities we had planned. We hiked, visited an orchard, the beach, the dunes, several restaurants and breweries, a few wineries, and some local shops. My boys all loved having their own rooms and there was plenty of room to bring friends. We enjoyed coffee on the back porch while eating bakery goods from a local bakery and watching deer walk bye. The 12 person dinning room table was perfect for meals and games. The hot tub, patio, and fire pit were all perfect areas for our group to hang out."

"A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. True to the listing, the cottage is directly by a set of beach steps, which put you directly out onto a private beach available for renters use. The beach is on a beautiful stretch of the lake shoreline.The surrounding wooded neighbourhood is very scenic, and has a local relaxing quiet beach vibe. There is more 'bustle' in the nearby towns of New Buffalo, St Joesph's etc which are close by. New Buffalo is also connected to Union Pier by a multi-use pedestrian path, so biking from the cottage there, or biking/walking to some of the coffee shops/restaurants in Union Pier is also an option right from the cottage. Amenities in the cottage covered all of our needs, which is likely to cover yours also. There is an outdoor shower at the back of the cottage which is an excellent touch for getting everyone de-sanded after the beach! Had a great time during our stay, which was during the quieter season in late September. Would definitely book again without hesitation."

"Although somewhat challenging to find the actual unit, we appreciated and enjoyed it being somewhat remote off the cross street. Everything was excellent and we would consider returning the same time in years to come. We also met the wife of the proprietor who was quite friendly, even though a fan of Chicago sporting teams :)"

"This is a clean and quite lovely property. We enjoyed it very much. Fully stocked kitchen and ample sleeping arrangements. You walk a short ways to the private beach down some stairs. They are steep but have good railings."

"House was great and perfect for our large family of 24. The kitchen had everything you’d ever need. One small wish was a leaf blower or a service that blew leaves off the patio as given the woods it got quite covered and “messy” by the end of the week. We had a wonderful time and they were great hosts."
