Unfortunately the walk hall was very dark no lights on first floor cable still sticking out of the wall, unfinished. It would be nice the apt door has a handle, easier to close the door from inside. "The property description and photos were what drew me to book my stay at Landhuis Francia. It was truly a far cry from the pictures. The property was run down and unkept, with untidy common areas and dirty dishes left on the kitchen counters and in the sink. The pool was dirty - obviously between cleanings - and the poolhouse looked like it hadn't been cleaned for some time. I did not receive instructions on how to get into the property in a timely fashion and my boyfriend had to climb the fence...

"Absolutely amazing stay at Plantation Jan Thiel lodge. The lodge has so much character and is located in a beautiful setting. If I could give a Michelin star to Loeki, I would — the breakfasts were out of this world made with fresh local Ingredients and or so flavourful and healthy. All the staff were courteous and very nice. "
