"Clean cabin and nice staff members. I didn't like that we didn't have the pillows and the comforters ( but got informed about it before the trip ). Our cabin was by the railway so it was super loud, I couldn't sleep. The bathroom is not connected to the cabin ( and I also knew about it before coming to the place). My husband said the men's bathroom smelled absolutely horrible. "
"Hotel was close to the ballfields where my daughter was playing. Was close to many restaurants and Busch Gardens. Was very clean and mainly quiet at night. "

Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg
10/10 Excellent
"It is a beautiful, quiet peaceful space. Our unit had large rooms and we enjoyed our stay. The only upgrade I would suggest is that the living room furniture could be a little more comfortable for relaxing

"This is my second time staying at this property and both times we had a great experience. While the decor in the units is a bit outdated, they are spacious, clean and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. They amenities and common areas (pool, playground, tennis courts) are all accessible and clean. Very family friendly and close to everything! "
"Very convenient staff was amazing and quick to fix any small issues like switch out microwave or tv issues, this place is one best and that's coming from places in Hampton and Newport news just really great staff and rooms "
Cottage - Williamsburg Pet-Friendly Getaway – Heated Pool, Free Game Room, Near Parks
6/10 Okay
"I booked the cottage for my family of 5. There must be an error in the listing, because, for the beds, the listing shows there are 1 queen bed and 4 sofa beds. Unfortunately, we found that there were only 2 sofa beds... so my 12 year old son and 11 year old daughter had to share a bed -- not cool. Also, when we entered the cottage, the first thing we smelled was pet urine. The rug at the entrance of the front door reaked. Probably from a previous guest not letting their dog out in time. Nonetheless, we don't have pets and this was very gross to us. I stored the rug in the closet until we left the next day. Other than that, the cottage was nice. The people working at the general store were friendly. And the kids enjoyed the pool."
"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If you're looking for a nice place to stay with the pups, close to historical Williamsburg and Busch Gardens, this is a love stay!"
