Pierson Homestead is a unique vacation experience. This home is near to all that Kentucky has to offer. In the middle of the bourbon trail. The indoor and outdoor gathering spaces provide the perfect setting for a quiet, tranquil experience for a happy couple, family gathering, or venue for events. Pierson Homestead has a formal dining room that seats up to ten people with a connected family living area with a large flat screen T.V. The kitchen is completely equipped with all of the tools and appliances necessary to prepare a meal to make your dining experience cozy. The kitchen also has an extra kitchen table that can seat four people. Come sit and enjoy our large balcony deck complete with a gas grill for those outdoor meals. Pierson Homestead is a luxurious home away from home. This two-leveled, five bedroom home, is surrounded by trees, wildlife, horses, and fresh country air. Great family getaway

We had 10 adults staying overnight and 19 total people for a fun family BBQ. It's great to be able to get family in 1 place when they come from 7 different cities in 5 different states.

Peaceful Stay!

Quiet home in a country setting. It's was very quiet and peaceful. It was about a 25 minute drive to Bardstown. Plenty of room for all of us to enjoy!!!

Indigo (Florida) Boys Trip - Bourbon Trail

We absolutely loved what the house had to offer and the beautiful grounds. Our stay was awesome, it was so great and everything exceeded our expectations although we loved how the house was depicted on line.Bonuses were the two friendly and beautiful horses we got to meet and pet. We also befriended outside a beautiful chocolate lab.The house welcomed us as family which we felt apart of the minute we arrived.We all hope we can do it again!Thank you!!!!

There were 6 of us this year, and not a problem to be had. The seclusion this property gives, and the centralized location make it a perfect fit for us! We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor aspects and will be there again next year.

Friend group on the bourbon trail

House was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Plenty of space to relax and get ready for our daily adventures. Located in the middle of the bourbon trail we had short drives in each direction to visit different distilleries. The house was perfect for our week long stay

We had 4 couples staying at the house. Roomy for the 8 of us! It was a quiiet setting not far from Bardstown & the places we visited. We enjoyed the pool table for some entertainment. Overall, a very good experience!

PGA championship / bourbon tour

Property was as advertised. Clean and stocked with everything we needed. We spent Thursday at the golf tournament in Louisville. Friday was bourbon trail day. Saturday we ended up at Lover’s Leap winery which was awesome.

The location was central to distilleries in Bardstown and Frankfort. Cooked several meals at the house. The beds were comfortable. Only item to mention is one of the bathrooms is a half bath without a tub or shower. The VRBO lists a tub or shower in each bathroom.

Great Place to stay for the Bourbon Trail

Some friends and I stayed here so we could attend the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in Bardstown. The communication with the property owner was beyond a 5 star rating. The property was clean and supplied with everything we needed. The location was a perfect launch point to explore the Bourbon Trail and attend the KBF. Hoping to make this an annual trip and this will be our first choice of places to stay. If you are looking for a great spot to relax in-between visiting distilleries and get a good night sleep, this place is for you.

Accommodations for Daughters Wedding

The hosts were incredibly accommodating! Myself and immediate family members were traveling into the area for my daughter’s wedding. My parents are elderly, and have a hard time getting around and this home was perfect for them. Vicki and Cathy went out of their way to make sure we had an incredible stay. This home is absolutely lovely, very homey, with lots of fun activities, indoors, and outdoors. I highly recommend this property for any age range! I am looking forward to coming back and staying in this beautiful home when I visit my daughter and son-in-law.

Fun house

We had a fun weekend on the Bourbon Trail. The house had everything we needed. Really nice fire pit. Great pool table and game system. We were expecting a 3 full bathrooms. We do wish the door was unlocked between the two bathrooms but it all worked out perfect. The beds were comfy.

Great for groups of family

Everything about this house was wonderful. It was clean, comfortable, wood was provided for the firepit - those pesky spice you don't want to buy for just a weekend - they were there... We cooked for 10+ people twice - and had enough bakeware, silverware, dishes to make this work.... There are horses on the property next door and they were friendly. It was a great gathering place. The only thing that took us by surprise was the bathroom situation - the listing mentioned 3 full baths when in reality there was 1 full bath downstairs (3 bedrooms) and a 1/2 bath upstairs, plus the master suite upstairs had a full bathroom with 2 showers - so technically they had three bathrooms but in reality - people had to walk through the master bedroom to access a shower. For 4 couples that do not know each other well - this was a bit awkward - one of the couples decided not to stay at the property and ended up in town. SO perfect for groups that are comfortable sharing bathrooms.

We loved this property.

The house was very spacious and comfortable. The host was very responsive to direct phone calls and texts. The grounds were amazing. We did have to drive a bit to get to our destinations but that was well worth it.
