The location was great. The only thing is when you exit the property in the evenings there was always people hanging out at the building on the right and the next day you would see all the trash they left behind. And with the hotel staff they were not always as welcoming when leaving and returning to the Hotel, they would not always acknowledge or speak as you enter and exited the lobby. On the last couple of days of my stay we met a staff member that was awesome and I would like to recognize her because she gave 100% customer service everytime we saw her and that is Gabby. She was very welcoming, polite and always had a friendly smile when we saw her...( I hope I have her name correct. Her shift started at 2:30pm ) I also would like to recognize our housekeeper. She did an excellent job with cleaning our room daily! Thank you!

The Hotel was very clean and the rooms were updated. The location is great very walkable and close to public transportation. The staff were not very friendly or helpful. Our biggest complaint would be the host at the breakfast buffet. We sat down for the included buffet breakfast which in itself is very hard to navigate. It’s extremely busy and chaotic. The host scolded me and spoke so rudely to me for leaving with a piece of toast and a piece of fruit. I didn’t really eat at the buffet because I have a medical condition I asked an employee if I could take the little bowl I made with me. He said no problem. I assumed he was a manager by the way he was dressed and how accommodating he was. However the next morning I was so embarrassed by the host. He scolded me again for leaving the day before with food, he just could not let it go m . He said I needed to read the sign pointed to a sign.

Transport access walking distance to take train to midway airport was easy and convenient

Loved the rooftop bar and restaurant. The service at the Lyric Restaurant on the Pier was fantastic. The Saturday night Fireworks and Drone show was great. This is a great place to walk straight up into the city center, Michigan Ave. Also a great place to walk the Lake front.
