Harbor View–Enjoy the best sunsets on the island from this upper level duplex

This sound front upper level property has the best sunset views on the island. Enjoy views of the sound from the large front deck off the living room. The main living area has a large sofa, flat screen TV, large dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen! The first guest bedroom has a bunk bed and a twin bed. The second guest bedroom has a king bedroom. In the hallway is a full bathroom that these two bedrooms share. The master bedroom has a king bed and a full size private bathroom.

Take a walk to the beach right across the block, or walk across the street to the sound. At low tide there is a beach you can enjoy on the sound side at the dock. The dock has a gazebo to enjoy the sunset and beach breeze. Boogie boards and beach chairs are available in this property. Covered parking for at least 2 cars.

Amazing location and view

We wanted a great sunset view and this place was perfect for that. The porch is big and had lots of furniture. The house was a great size and was in a great location to walk north to shops or south for a little longer walk to Oceanic. However, It could have been cleaned a little better with a lot of dust, dirt on the floors, and gnats that we haven’t experienced on the beach. I think this place was worth the price and we would stay again.

Our family had the best time at the Harbor view . The location was great , sunsets gorgeous, and the house was immaculate!!!! We will definitely stay here again!!!!

Best WBxNC September stay

Really enjoyed this property and how well appointed it was and nicely decorated as well as nice furniture- something that is hit or miss in rentals. We had an extended stay for a few weeks of work while at beach and vacation and we loved it!

Great house with an awesome view

We loved this house!! We enjoyed a friend weekend on Wrightsville Beach and thought the location was perfect. This house is a short walk to the beach, coffee shops and Tower 7. We loved turning off the AC and enjoying the nice beach breeze throughout the house. We also enjoyed many meals on the porch taking in the beautiful view. It really was the perfect group house. My only complaint is the check-in/check out process. It was the first house that I've rented in several years that required me to stop and pick up an actual key. It's such a modern house, that I'd expected a keypad. I also find keypads are easier for group travel. When leaving, you have to stop back by the office and drop off the key, but the office is on your way off the beach. That said, the check-in / checkout process won't stop us from renting this place again. Overall, it was a gem!!

Close walkway to the beach next to the Blockade Runner. It's an upper unit of a duplex-we found the lower level owners to be very nice. Be sure to use the stairway- Lumina oceanside-located in the laundry room-it keeps you from interfering with the downstairs neighbors on their deck. Would rent again.

I came down for the week with my girlfriend and it was a large residence for just the two of us but we enjoyed the open space. The top deck is amazing for a cup of coffee and especially for an evening cocktail as there is no better place to watch the sunset on the island than here since the sun sets over Dockside in the distance. I did not bring my boat down like i originally intended but the dock was nice and boat lift worked however there was no room to pull a boat up and tie it to the dock. You either have to lift the boat or anchor it if the tide is low. The condition of the house was great although the sofas are a bit older. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and we were able to cook with plenty of space. All in all, this is a great 3 bedroom place with a spectacular view. The center of the action (famous beach bars, Robert's Grocery, Tower 7, Sweetwater Surf Shop) is a short walk or bike ride (they have 2 bikes at the house which was not advertised at all) which make this a great stay and I will be back.

The only negative comment that I would add is regarding the kitchen and cooking utensils. It's definitely not a "cook's kitchen" as the kitchen is very small and very limited on eating utensils. (only 6 dinner forks and 3 teaspoons). Also the dishwasher did not clean very well, I had to handwash many things once I emptied it.

Great location, great home... unfortunately the boat lift was broken and we chose this property for that reason as we trailered a fishing boat. Gave us a small refund, but no other solution which is the ONLY reason we book this property. It made for an inconvient weekend, especially with kids. Was told on Friday afternoon that the boat lift motor couldn't be fixed during the time we were there. Disappointing to say the least.

The only down side to that is there is very little room to store your food. There were also some beach chairs and 2 bikes available for use in the storage room downstairs. The beds were great quality which is also hard to find in a rental. The layout of the place is great with everything on one level including a large laundry area. I enjoyed having the sound view and easy access to the beach.
