Wilmington Family Vacation Home

This house and yard are spacious and fun. There is over 1500 sq ft inside and a large fenced in back yard with a new large deck, and a new double concrete driveway for plenty of parking space. The kitchen and dining room is newly remodeled. Everyone has room to relax and play inside and out, including children and dogs. It is in a quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors. Close to beaches, restaurants, and downtown activities. Relax back at home with a fun selection of family games. Don't forget about the Fireplace in the game room and a smokeless firepit off the back patios. More amenities are being added every season. You won't beat our prices for a comparable place. 415 Kelly Road, Wilmington, NC is an excellent place to stay. It's very clean and extremely well stocked with all needs. There were 5 of us and plenty of spare plus some.

Best stay ever

So impressed with the property. Everything you can think of was provided for. Indoor/outside games, throw blankets for relaxing on great deck or watching TV, even had toys for the kids and dogs.

We absolutely loved the house and extensive backyard. Everything we needed in terms of dishware, table games, outdoor furniture, comfortable indoor furniture, and YouTube made our week very relaxing.

These Hosts Thought of Everything!

We were so beyond thrilled with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back to the same place. We were so impressed with everything provided, how thought out everything was. These hosts had things we didn’t even think to bring or realize we would have needed. Perfect for families. We stayed here with 4 adults and 4 children between ages 5-7. BY FAR THE BEST HOSTS EVER AND BEST PLACE WE’VE EVER STAYED!!! A home away from home.

Everything you need/want is here!

In addition to this place being clean, as advertised and in a terrific location it’s got what you need! Kitchen supplies were abundant (even spices, tin foil, containers). Stuff for kids - outs play area, inside toys, booster seat. Very private back yard with plenty of seating/shade.Even had Kleenex, extra towels, trash bags… treated like family!

Lovely home in quiet Wilmington neighborhood

Tucked into an older neighborhood, the house has numerous updates. Very clean home, beds were comfy and extra blankets were stored in the closet. The host was very responsive and sent a short text to make sure we were comfy. The back yard has room for play and hanging out. Overall a wonderful location for us!

Perfect work-away

This place is ideal for exploring Wilmington. It has everything you need and then some. The home is lovely and it feels like home. I have stayed in a few that felt cold- gray paint and carpet with just the bare essentials from Ikea. Not this place it is warm and inviting! The backyard is fantastic! and the WIFI is more than enough for video calls. Just loved it. If I am back in Wilmington, I will stay here.

Excellent Stay

The house was clean, and nicely decorated - even with warm throws for an evening's reading on the sofa. There was a large living room with a big TV and a den with games, thereby giving a larger group plenty of "get away" spaces. There was a generous quantity of luxuriously soft towels and bath cloths. The ample herbs and condiments left by others were most helpful and appreciated. The large, bright kitchen was well-stocked with every conceivable pot and pan, including a slow cooker! Sitting on the private back deck to read or for a meal was a delight. The neighborhood was attractive and quiet. As a widowed woman, I felt safe.The beautiful and peaceful tucked-away location was close to Airlie Gardens, the Historic District, and the Cotton Exchange as well as shopping and restaurants.I hope to be able to stay here for another visit to Wilmington, NC!

What a gem!

The house is up-to-date, well-kept and extremely clean! The hosts provided virtually everything anyone could ever need to be comfortable, have fun and simply relax. From TV to Karaoke, borad games to beach chairs. This place has it all! Communication was outstanding. Pretty amazing experience, actually! Location is perfectly in the middle of anything one could possibly do in Wilmington. Obviously, we enjoyed our stay very much, and would stay here again on next visit!!!

Great stay!

This was a great place to stay in Wilmington! The house had everything we needed. We stayed for a full week and didn't have any issues. It was clean and welcoming. The check-in process and communication with the owner was great. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the beach and all the restaurants on the island. I took my dog with me and she loved the spacious backyard. The only thing I would add is that the mosquitos were pretty bad, so we couldn't stay out there for long periods of time. It could've just been the time of year or that it had rained a good bit before we arrived, but it may be a good idea to spray back there a few times a year. Other than that, the house was perfect for our stay! I would stay here again!

We felt so at home!

This was a staycation of sorts. It was our daughters 18th birthday and we rented this vrbo for two nights, so that she and her friends (yes, I was there the entire time) could have a blast before college scatters everyone! Let me tell you- This house was immaculately clean and the kitchen island and the den is where we hung out! So much room for everyone and we all felt right at home, instantly. Todd was so amazing, super nice and helpful with anything we needed. It felt like staying at a relatives house! Liz has done an amazing job of decorating and you can tell each touch was done with care and comfort in mind. The beds- I wanted to take them home with me- so comfortable and the sheets and quilt were so soft. I point this out because many places we have rented have been nice, but the bedding is rough. It’s not something you think too much about until you’ve had THIS. There is plenty of closet space and numerous places to sleep! The kitchen made me the happiest. Everyone could hang out comfortably and everything we needed was provided. I never thought I would actually rent somewhere in the same town that I live, but our daughter and her friends made memories that they’ll never forget. We will be back!

The property was outstanding. It’s an easy drive to the beach and the outdoor area is great for families. The games and toys for the kids were a great surprise. We had a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great Getaway in Wilmington

The house was very clean and well stocked with everything needed. Great location with a short drive to the beach. The backyard was a wonderful spot to unwind with family at the end of each day.

Wilmington stay

The property was beautiful! It was the perfect location between Wrightsville, and Carolina beaches. Also, equidistant to downtown Wilmington. Quiet and lovely neighborhood. Perfect for a family get away. The hosts are generous and provide a lot of beach necessities, and games for down time at the home. The location is also very close to grocery stores and other needed locations during a family trip. Would 10/10 stay again!
