"Nice location, clean home, but the shower’s water pressure was like standing under a watering can sprinkler. If you turn the hot water down, the pressure gets less. Takes forever to get the soap rinsed off your body and hair. Other than that, nice accommodations"

"The Riverside Retreat was a respite from the noise of our lives. We enjoyed the clean, well-supplied VRBO space. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do while we were in Strasburg and the surrounding area. If you stay at the Riverside Retreat, be sure to visit the many historical places around the area. Zoar and the Ohio Erie Canal sites are very interesting, along with Fort Laurens, the first continental outpost of the Ohio Frontier, during the American Revolution."

"We felt very much at home with this property. It was very clean and comfortable. It was well furnished with plenty of towels, wash clothes, kitchen utensils, coffee and tea, snacks, condiments, cookies and fresh flowers. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck under the shade of the trees. It was wonderful and we would love to stay there again on our next trip to the area!!"

"We had a fine stay. The house was as described. It was pleasant and nicely appointed. The kids enjoyed playing on the piano. We all enjoyed hearing the clop, clop of the horses pulling buggies each morning and evening."

"Plenty of room and then some for a family get together. Some of the door locks were tricky and no lock on the back door made us uncomfortable being from an area where we lock our doors. The surrounding county side was really nice!"

"Nice house in a quiet neighborhood and very convenient to Walnut Creek, Berlin, Sugarcreek. Nice covered front porch to keep you out of the rain while unlocking the door and entering the house. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The only things that could be improved are 1. the doors may need oiled as they were noisy when opening/closing and 2. the stools in the kitchen were not very comfortable. Overall though it was a very nice place to stay."

Everything from the room to the kitchen and the wrap around porches were clean and well maintained. We had a stunning view from the west facing porch. I can almost guarantee you that we'll be back."
