"The cabin was beautifully decorated and everything was clean. We just relaxed especially in the amazing hot tub and had fun playing a couple of rounds of pool. The host responded to any kind of message very quickly but we had no issues whatsoever."

"Great location. One of a kind. Hearing the sound of the rushing water was so soothing. The host was available immediately when we needed. Highly recommend it. Personal decorative touches including themes of travel and adventure. Also an incredible selection of tv channels to amuse and educate. Thank you hosts."

"We had never stayed in a yurt before and were pleasantly surprised about how nice and spacious everything is. The yurt itself is so fun and immaculate, it had everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better, just far enough off the beaten path but close to restaurants, beautiful Nantahala lake and the NOC. The creek beside the house was wonderful for fishing and just sitting and listening. We used the hot tub several times and it was clean and well maintained. Beds are very comfy as well as the sitting area, the kitchen was well equipped. We can’t wait to book this place again, it was a dream vacation."

"The cabin was awesome and the stay was excellent! If you enjoy a great mountain view from a large, hillside cabin, with many amenities, then this is an excellent choice! The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Even after we discovered an issue, the host went above an beyond to try an correct the issuePros (more details below!):1) An incredible cabin with lots of space and many beds!2) Outstanding view of the mountains.3) Amenities galore! So many that you may not want to leave!4) Excellent host that was incredibly responsive.5) Isolated and quiet.Cons (none are really negative!):1) It is up a mountain, so the road is steep and mostly gravel.2) You cannot actually see the lake.3) It is an older cabin, but still in very good condition.4) No speakers (yet!)The property listing was not complete accurate, as there were actually MORE amenities than listed! Here is a partial list of the extras:There is a large gas grill (in excellent condition) and a hibachi grill for charcoal. There is a large coffee maker both floors, and a Keurig machine on the main floor. There is a dishwasher on the main floor.There were 4 kayaks onsite and a trailer to load them on to get down to the lake.The pool table is regulation size. The 80's style arcade game has 6 old-school games on it Including Frogger, Donkey Kong, Galaga & Mrs Pac-Man!!). I'm sure I missed some, but basically, anything you need (other than food & drink) is there, with lots of extras!Highly recommend!"

"We a had a little hiccup with the door code not working but we reached out and got the code quickly. The only thing I would say we were a little surprise by the driveway at Idle Speed. It was tough to get up on a rainy day. The house is 3 stories and the bedrooms are all down stairs. I only mention it if you have trouble going up and down stairs."
